Tw HD Mode also qffMs certain Sound con-
rol a4justments to fine tune the sound being
hearzl when in the HD Mode,
Pre_s the HD button on the remotecontrol to place the TV in the HD Mode
(HDI).
Pre_s the MENU button on the remotecontrol to display the HD Mode
onscreen menu. The PICTURE option
will be highlighted,

buttons until SOUND is highlighted,
Pre_s the CURSOR RIGHT button to
shift the menu to the left, accessing the
SOUND onscreen menu options,
Pre_s the CURSOR UP or DOWN
buttons to highlight any of the HD
Mode Sound Controls. Choose from:
EQUALIZER, BALANCE, or AVL,
EQUALIZER - Allows the listener to
change 1he sound frequencies to lheir
liking,
BALANCE - This conlrols the sound
level balance between the right and left
TV sI_akers.
AVL - Automa/ic Volume _veler, when
ON, will keep the volume level at a con-
sistent level should there be sudden
peaks and valleys in sound levels during
commercial breaks or channel changes.

Pre_s the STATUS/EXIT button to
remove the onscreen menu from lhe TV
screen when finished, Or, let the display
time out and the menu will disappear
afler a few second.
