2. NETWORK CONFIGURATION
The speaker is connected to the network via WLAN. The WLAN antenna on the speaker receives the 
signals from the network router.
3. CONNECTING THE POWER SUPPLY
Plug the mains cable supplied into the DC IN socket on the product.
4. POWERING THE SPEAKER ON AND OFF
Power on/ off the speaker
The speaker will power on automatically when connecting the power supply. Disconnect the power supply 
to power off the speaker.
Standby mode
The system will enter Standby mode after 15 mins without any audio signal inputs.
5. INITIAL OPERATION
• 
You can use the SET (WPS) button to connect the speaker to the network of your router or set up the 
network connection over the web interface of the speaker.
•  Put the speaker as near as possible to the router when putting it into operation for the rst time in 
order to guarantee an efcient WLAN signal during the set-up process. Then place the speaker within 
the range of the WLAN network.
5.1 WLAN connection via WPS Mode
If your router has a WPS button, this is a simple and convenient way of connecting the speaker to the 
network:
•  Press the WPS button on the router and press the SET (WPS) button brieftly on the rear of the 
speaker to confirm the connection.
 Note: Please also refer to the instruction for the router.
  The product will now establish a connection with the network. The LED will flash rapidly during this 
process.
•  Once the connection has been made, the LED will turn solid White.
•  The product can now play back audio signals from the network.
•  The product saves the connection data therefore they do not need to be re-entered the next time it 
is switched on.
 Note: The waiting time of WPS mode is 2 mins.. You might need to re-start and press WPS button 
once again when time out.
5.2 Connecting to a network via the web interface
If it is not possible to connect to a network via WPS, you can use the web interface of the speaker. You 
will need a device with a wireless network adapter on which you can access an internet browser (e.g. a 
computer/ smartphone).
•  Power on the speaker and search for the “Magnat_CS10XX-XX-XX” open WLAN network in the list of 
available networks on the computer/ Smartphone.
•  Note: XX-XX-XX in the SSID of the speaker stands for the last 6 characters of the MAC address of 
the respective speaker.
