Step 1. Begin removal of the OEM exhaust system by
unbolting the inlet flange attaching the exhaust to the
catalytic converter. Do not discard or damage the OEM
fasteners or rubber insulators as they will be used to
install the new system.
Step 2. Unbolt the drivers side OEM muffler assembly
at the flange junction. Disengage all welded hangers
from the rubber isolators. The OEM exhaust system
may now be removed.
Step 3. Begin installation of your new MAGNAFLOW
system by attaching the Inlet flange of the Inlet Resonator
Assembly to the catalytic converter outlet using the OEM
fasteners. Engage the welded hanger to the rubber
isolator. Keep all fasteners and clamps loose until final
adjustment.
Step 4. Next attach the Y-Pipe Assembly to the Inlet
Resonator Assembly by coupling the flanges using the
supplied gasket and hardware.
