Creating new named colors
If you want to use the same color in different parts of the drawing, and there is any chance you might
want to change that color in future, it is highly recommended that you create a named color
. This is easy in Web Designer MX Premium:
Select an object whose color you want to use and then click New named color in the Color editor
.
Click to create a new named color
Give the color a suitable
name, like "car color"
and click create. You will
see the new color added
to the Color Line
.
You can now apply this
color to any object the
usual way, by
drag-dropping it from the
Color Line or just
clicking (or right clicking
to use it as a line color)
to apply as the fill color.
When you edit a named
color, all objects that use
this color will change.
