Closing a shape
A shape is a closed object with no start or end handle. Only shapes can be color filled.
To close a shape:
1.
Create an open object with the end point
handle close to the start handle. All the
point handles (except the end handle)
should be in their required positions.
2.
Position the pointer over the end handle.
3.
Drag the end handle over the start handle
and release the mouse button. The two
handles snap together.
Or:
1.
Create an open object with all the control
handles in their correct positions. Do not
create the final line segment.
2.
Move the pointer over the start point. A +
appears to the right of the pointer when it
is over the start handle.
3.
Click to create the final line segment and
close the shape.
Or:
1.
Choose the Shape Editor Tool.
2.
Click on an end point to select it.
3.
Press the "¿" key.
Any of these closes the shape. If there is a current fill color, the shape is filled with that color.
