Removing objects from the document

First select the objects you want to remove. You can then either cut the objects to the clipboard or

delete them.

Cutting objects

Choose "Edit" > "Cut", or press "Ctrl + X".The contents of the clipboard are overwritten and you can

paste the deleted object(s) somewhere else if desired.

Deleting objects

Right click and choose Delete or choose Delete from the Edit menu,

or press the "Delete" key, or click the delete button on the Standard

control bar.

In this case the deleted objects are not put onto the clipboard. If you accidentally delete an object, undo

retrieves it.
