Select a process by clicking it, and information will be provided about what it is
doing. If the process is not necessary for your work, then you can end it.
Activity: Displays how frequently a process is active irrespective of how
much RAM is required. Processes will also be made visible that operate
continuously.
CPU %: Indicates the current CPU load in percent.
CPU time: This indicates how long the processor has been involved with
this process since startup.
RAM kB: This displays how much RAM is required by a specific process.
• Green: The process requires only a little RAM; RAM is sufficient.
• Yellow: The process requires a lot of RAM.
• Red: The process requires even more RAM.
Note: If a lot of processes are listed here that are required for operating the PC
and they are highlighted in yellow or red, then additional RAM should be
installed.
Autostart: You can see here which processes are started automatically
when the PC is started up (these are marked for autostart). If a lot of
processes are listed here which require a lot of performance but are not
necessary, then these should be ended.
