PDF Export options

This is only possible for those fonts that are marked by their creators as having

permission for embedding. You are warned if it’s not possible to embed fonts.

Document Font embedding

MAGIX Page & Layout Designer 2013 stores the character shapes of all the fonts

used in your document. This means if you give someone else your design file, or

transfer the file to another computer, the text will still look exactly right, even if the

correct fonts are not installed on that computer.

Adding Hyperlinks

With this button you open the Link Dialog. With this dialog you can apply

hyperlinks to selected text or any other object like photos or graphical

elements.

When exporting your document to PDF (on page 314) this link is kept. When you

click the lin

k when the exported PDF file is shown the internet browser will open with

this adress.

Note: The links are ignored when exporting to bitmap files or when the document is

printed :)

The settings on this tab apply to the selected object(s) or selected text. To add a link

to just some of the words in a paragraph of text, go into the Text Tool and drag over

the text you want to link, to select it. Then setup the link in this dialog.
