Play into Loop
Menu: Playback
Yet another way to play back in MAGIX music editor 2
is the Play Into Loop function. This will start the playback at the beginning of the audio tracks or the
current Position Line position and continues the playback until the end of a selected range is reached.
Once the end of the range is reached, the playback is then continued from the beginning of the range.
This is also a quick way of testing sample loops for playback samplers that work with MIDI sample
dump standard.
Tip: When working on loops, position the beginning of the audio sample at the beginning of the VIP track
or Wave project and select the range that would contain the loop. When the playback starts, the
beginning of the VIP track of Wave project is played back and continues to loop the selected range.
Tip: Don’t worry about destroying the set range when placing the position line. With the new range
history function the range will automatically restored when you start "play into loop"
