Menu Range
Menu Reference
MAGIX music editor 2 offers a convenient way of working with ranges. The ‘Range’
menu will let you use these options.
Range all
The range will cover the complete sample.
Move Play Cursor to beginning
Sets the play cursor to the beginning of the
project.
Move Play Cursor to end
Sets the play cursor to the end of the project.
Move Play Cursor to Range Start
Sets the play cursor to the beginning of the
selected range.
Move Play Cursor to end of range
Sets the play cursor to the end of the selected
range.
Left Move in Page Mode
Moves play cursor left
Left Move in Scroll Mode
Moves play cursor left and scrolls
Right Move in Page Mode
Moves play cursor right
Right Move in Scroll Mode
Moves play cursor right and scrolls
Range to beginning
The beginning of the range will be extended
toward to the beginning of the project.
Range to end
The end of the range will be extended toward the
end of the project.
Flip Range left
The current range is shifted left.
Flip Range right
The current range is shifted right.
Beginning of Range -> 0
Shifts the beginning of a range right to next zero
position.
End of Range -> 0
Shifts the end of a range right to next zero
position.
Beginning of Range <- 0
Shifts the beginning of a range left to next zero
position.
End of Range <- 0
Shifts the end of a range left to next zero
position.
Range Length to
Sets the range length to 1...16 beats.
Split Range
Splits current range in 3 views for better loop
search.
Split Range for Video
Splits current range in 3 views, zoomed down to
1 frame.
Store Range
Stores current on a function key.
Get Range
Recall range from function key.
Get Range Length
Recall the length of a range from function key.
Store marker
Stores current marker to a number key.
Get marker
Recall marker from a number key.
Set Markers on Range Borders
Sets 2 markers to start and end of the range.
Set Markers on Silence
Sets marker to silent positions in the sample.
