Split Objects
Menu: Object
This function splits or separates selected objects so that individual object sections can be further
manipulated. All selected objects are separated at the current play cursor position, which results in two
independent objects.
If a range is selected, the cut occurs on both
range borders. It is not necessary to select objects prior to choosing the range and calling the Split
Objects function. If an underlying object is separated, the newly created object covers the original
underlying object.
The two new objects have the same object properties (FX, Object volume, color...).
