Work techniques
combination of a figure and a background image are per-
fectly organised, yet together need to be shifted.
A grouping is effectively consolidated as a single object and
retains a common frame. To separate the group into its
original elements, select the ”Ungroup” command.
Organising layers
You can in principle combine as many image elements as
you wish. Every element can be moved anywhere on the
work space. It often happens when working with many
images that some elements and their frames become hid-
den. The view menu helps out in this case, via the ”next
layer”, ”previous layer”, ”straight to the front” and ”straight
to the back” commands. Imagine if you will pictures on
your desk piled one on top of the other so that only a part of
the total picture can be seen.
