The Laminating Tab: (This option is only available on the Tango +L)
Roller Temperature
Adjusts the heated roller temperature of the laminator unit in degrees C.
Low temperatures will result in laminator panel not adhering to the card.
High temperatures can cause the card to distort due to excessive heat.
It is recommended that only small adjustments are made.
Adjustment is in units of 1ºC.
Card Speed
Specifies how fast the card travels during the lamination process, increases or decreases overall
lamination time.
Low speeds can cause the card to distort due to excessive heat.
High speeds will cause the card to receive insufficient heat to adhere to the laminate, it is
recommended that only small adjustments are made. Adjustment is in units of 1mm/s.
Pre-Lamination
Delay
Specifies the length of time the laminator will pause after the card has been moved into position and
before the lamination process commences. This allows time for the card to cool after the printing
process. Adjustment is in units of 100ms (3000 = 3secs).
Lamination
Length
Specifies the length of card that the heated roller will laminate onto. Adjustment is in units of 1mm.
Start Offset
Adjust the positioning of the laminate patch at the start of the card, Adjustment is in units of 1/50
th
mm.
(100 = 2mm)
End Offset
Adjust the positioning of the laminate patch at the end of the card. Adjustment is in units of 1mm.

The Laminating Tab allows the customization of some of the lamination
unit parameters. You can also load and save custom profiles allowing
simple changeover between different card materials, etc.
Laminate Only
This option will make the Tango + L bypass the printing stage and
laminate the card, this option can be used to laminate cards that have
already been printed providing that they do not have an overcoat or
laminate layer already applied to them.

A list of pre-set profiles that have been setup by the manufacturer, it is
possible to create additional profiles by selecting ‘custom profile’

The load and save buttons are only available if ‘custom profile’ is
selected from the profile name list. The save button will save all current
laminator settings to a .LMP file in the location chosen by the user, the
load button is used for loading any .LMP files that have been saved. This
function is useful for transferring settings between driver versions and
different PC systems.
