Advanced Colour Options.
The Advanced Colour Options provide controls for fine tuning the colour
output of the printer. The card design can de darkened, lightened, made
brighter or appear faded, even specific colour levels can be adjusted by
changing the position of the colour strength sliders.
The preview picture at the top of the window will show the results of any
adjustments.
All colours in an image design are a mixture of red,
green and blue (RGB). So any change in the
strength of one of these 3 colours (RGB) will affect
every colour that is composed using the changed colour, so
the results may not be as expected; for this reason it is recommended
that colour control and colour strength sliders remain at their default
settings.
Advanced Tab
The Advanced Tab allows the customization of some of the advanced technical settings related to colour correctness
and image positioning on the printed card.
Colour Control
The Colour Correction options provide software ‘Gamma Curves’ to
correct for different characteristics of thermal printheads and dye-films.
Three choices are available - None, Gamma 1, and Gamma 2. It is
recommended that the setting is left on the default Gamma 1 option
(which gives more accurate colour reproduction).
