SECTION 4 โ FIRST AID MEASURES
First Aid Measures
Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Call a POISON CENTER
or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.
Eye Contact: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and
easy to do. Continue rinsing. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.
Ingestion: Not likely, due to the form of the product. In the unlikely event of swallowing contact a physician or poison
control center immediately. Rinse mouth.
Skin: Rinse skin with water/shower. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.
Most Important Symptoms and Effects (Acute and Delayed)
Inhalation: May cause drowsiness and dizziness. Headache.
Eye Contact: Severe eye irritation. Symptoms include stinging, tearing, redness, swelling, and blurred vision. Prolonged
exposure may cause chronic effects.
Ingestion: Nausea, vomiting.
Skin: May cause skin irritation.
Indication of any Immediate Medical Attention and Special Treatment Needed
Note to Physician: Treat symptomatically.
SECTION 5 โ FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Extinguishing Media
Suitable: Water fog. Alcohol resistant foam. Dry chemical powder. Carbon dioxide (CO2).
Unsuitable: Do not use water jet extinguisher, as this will spread the fire.
Specific Hazards Arising from Chemical
Contents under pressure. Pressurized container may explode when exposed to heat or flame. During fire, gases hazardous
to health may be formed.
Protective Equipment and Precautions for Firefighters
Firefighters must use standard protective equipment including flame retardant coat, helmet with face shield, gloves, rubber
boots, and in enclosed spaces, SCBA. In case of fire: Stop leak if safe to do so. Do not move cargo or vehicle if cargo has
been exposed to heat. Move containers form fire area if you can do so without risk. Containers should be cooled with water
to prevent vapor pressure build up. For massive fire in cargo area, use unmanned hose holder or monitor nozzles, if
possible. If not, withdraw and let fire burn out. Use standard firefighting procedures and consider the hazards of other
