OnChip Modem Enabled: Turn on MC99 feature.
Disabled (default): Turn off AC’97 codec chip control-
ler or user can connect external add-on
modem.
CPU to PCI Write
Buffer
When this field is Enabled, writes from the CPU to
the PCI bus are buffered, to compensate for the speed
defferences between the CPU and the PCI bus. When
Disabled, the writes are not buffered and the CPU
must wait until the write is complete before starting
another write cycle.
The choice: Enabled, Disabled.
PCI Dynamic Bursting When Enabled, every write transaction goes to the
write buffer. Burstable transactions then burst on the
PCI bus and nonburstable transactions don’t.
The choice: Enabled, Disabled.
PCI Master 0 WS Write When Enabled, writes to the PCI bus are executed
with zero wait states.
The choice: Enabled, Disabled.
PCI Master 0 WS Read When Enabled, reads to the PCI bus are executed
with zero wait states.
The choice: Enabled, Disabled.
PCI / VGA Palette
Snoop
Choose Enabled or Disabled (default). It determines
whether or not the MPEG ISA cards can work with
PCI / VGA.
IDE HDD Block Mode Choose Enabled (default) or Disabled. If your hard
disk size is larger than 540MB, then choose Enabled.
If you are using the IDE HDD AUTO DETECTION
option, the BIOS will choose this option automatically.
NOTE: Some older model HDDs do not provide this feature.
OnChip Sound Enabled (default): Turn on AC’97 codec chip
controller.
Disabled: Turn off AC’97 codec chip controller or user
can plug external add-on sound card.
