Water Fixtures*
Water-ecient plumbing xtures help reduce water usage.
Please report any signs of leaking water anywhere in your apartment to
staimmediately.
Adjustable Showerheads• - All showers have adjustable shower
heads that allow you to adjust the ow and direcon of the water.
Water Bill• - All apartments are submetered for hot and cold water
and billed for their water use. This allows you to be rewarded for
conserving water and not worry about the 20 minute showers
your neighbors may be taking.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll see on your monthly water/sewer bill:
Cold Water о : This is measured in 10-gallon units and is billed at the city’s rate for
water.
Hot Water о : This is measured in 10-gallon units and is billed at the city’s rate for
water.
Sewer - Cold о : This is the sanitary sewer charge and also based on the volume of
cold water that you use. It is billed at the city’s sewer rate.
Sewer - Hot о : This is the sanitary sewer charge for the volume of hot water that
you use. It is billed at the city’s sewer rate.
Light Fixtures
All light xtures in the Ramona use uorescent lamps, which are proven
energy savers. When turned on, uorescent lighng will appear dim unl
the xture heats up. Allow at least ve minutes for the light to reach its
maximum brightness.
Switched Outlets • - In some of the apartments at the Ramona, living rooms have one
“switched outlet”. This means that the power running to the outlet is controlled by
the wall switch.
