11.0 Lubrication
Using lubricant designed for use on firearms, lightly apply to the contact areas of the following components:
Upper Receiver Assembly
• Forward assist.
• Ejection port cover spring and latch.
• Charging handle latch and spring.
• Front sight detent.
• Rear sight windage screw and detent.
• Gas valve body and threads.
• Pushrod and spring.
