2.1.2 DC Supply
An optional Low voltage DC Supply Cable allows the integrator to configure the Maestro
3GIR in such a way that a backup battery can keep the router alive after loss of mains
supply.
Please note that the Low voltage DC supply must be capable of supplying at least 18VA.
This means that, at 12V, the supply must be able to supply 1.5A. This is not the continuous
current that the Maestro 3GIR requires, but the pulses required when the router is in
communication during a download.
