In summary, menu settings tagged with PROF indicate that the values shown for those settings

are being set by an activated profile. Since there are many possible profiles, however, it does not

indicate which profile is the one setting the value. For that we need to look to the SET tag.

3.6.2 The SET and THRU Tags

As we learned above, the PROF tag indicates when a menu item is being set by a profile. Naturally,

this raises the question of which profile is the one setting the value. To determine this, we just

need to scroll through the profiles associated with the menu page.

Simply move to the Profile Bar and scroll through the selections. In our example, you will find

Base Settings, Active Settings, and the “Incoming Resolution: 1080p (or Lower)” profile. If this

menu page had been included in other profiles, those other profiles would also appear here.
