Remoting RecordSet
The following ActionScript example assumes that you’re using Flash
Remoting and that you’ve made a remoting call that returns a RecordSet. The RecordSet object
implements the DataProvider interface. The result is assigned to the
dataProvider property of
the
myDataset component instance:
function getSQLData_Result(result) {
myDataset.dataProvider = result;
}
Array of objects returned from a web service
The following illustration shows an example of
using the Component inspector to bind an array of objects returned from the web service,
represented by the
myWsc instance of the WebServiceConnector component. The illustration on
the left shows the schema of the web service. The illustration on the right shows how the
results
array is bound to the
items property of the myDataset component instance.
