MovieClip.tabEnabled

Usage

my_mc.tabEnabled:Boolean

Description

Property; specifies whether my_mc is included in automatic tab ordering. It is undefined

by default.

tabEnabled is undefined, the object is included in automatic tab ordering only if it defines at

least one movie clip handler, such as

MovieClip.onRelease. If tabEnabled is true, the object is

included in automatic tab ordering. If the

tabIndex property is also set to a value, the object is

included in custom tab ordering as well.

tabEnabled is false, the object is not included in automatic or custom tab ordering, even if

the

tabIndex property is set. However, if MovieClip.tabChildren is true, the movie clip’s

children can still be included in automatic tab ordering, even if

tabEnabled is false.

Example

The following example does not include myMC2_mc in the automatic tab ordering.

myMC1_mc.onRelease = function() {};

myMC2_mc.onRelease = function() {};

myMC3_mc.onRelease = function() {};

myMC2_mc.tabEnabled = false;
