The following example converts ASCII code numbers to their mulitibyte character
equivalents:
trace (mbchr(65));// Output: A
trace (mbchr(97));// Output: a
trace (mbchr(36));// Output: $
myString = mbchr(51) - mbchr(49);
trace ("result = " add myString);// Output: result = 2

Operands
string A string.
Description
String function; returns the length of the multibyte character string.
Example
The following example displays the length of the string in the myString variable:
myString = mbchr(36) add mbchr(50);
trace ("string length = " add mblength(myString));
// Output: string length = 2
