Warning and Error Messages

This appendix lists the possible information and warning messages that the Flash Lite
emulator might generate while your testing your Flash Lite application. For more information
about these warning messages, see “Setting emulator debug options (Flash Professional Only)”
on page 69.

lists errors that can occur on both the emulator and on an actual device.
Flash Lite emulator error and information
messages (Flash Professional Only)
The following table lists all the information messages that the Flash Lite emulator reports:
Error code Message Description
FTPA002 FSCommand is ignored. The emulator detected an fscommand()
function call, which is not supported by the
selected test device. No modifications are
made to the device-specific SWF file—this
is just a warning.
FTPA003 loadVariables is ignored. The emulator detected a
loadVariables()
function call, which is not supported by the
selected test device and content type. No
modifications are made to the device-
specific SWF file—this is just a warning.
FTPA004 loadMovie is ignored. The emulator detected a
loadMovie()
function call, which is not supported by the
selected test device and content type. No
modifications are made to the device-
specific SWF file—this is just a warning.
