Description

Saves all open documents, displaying the Save As dialog box for any documents that were not

previously saved.

fw.saveDocument()

Availability

Fireworks 3.

Usage

fw.saveDocument(document, {fileURL})

Arguments

document A Document object, for example, fw.documents[2], that specifies the

document to be saved. If

document is null, the active document is saved.

fileURL The name of the saved document, which is expressed as file://URL. This argument

is optional. If

fileURL is null or omitted, the document is saved with its current name; if the

document has not been saved, the Save As dialog box appears.

Returns

Nothing.

Description

Saves the specified document as a native Fireworks PNG file with the specified name. To save

a document to another format, such as GIF or JPEG, use

fw.exportDocumentAs().
