1. Browsetoanexistingpage,thenclicktheEditPagebutton.
2. Makechangestothedraft.
3. SelectFile>PublishasNewPage
ThePublishasNewPagedial ogboxappears.
4. Changethepagetitleforthedraft,ifyouwant.
Thepagetitleappearsinthetitlebarofthebrowserwhenavisitorviewsthepage;it
doesnotappearinthepageitself.
5. Changethefilenameforthedraft,ifyouwant.
Thefilenameappearsattheendofthewebaddressforthewebpage.
6. ClicktheChooseFolderbuttonbesidethefilenametosavethisdraftinanotherlocation
onyourwebsite,ifyouwant.
7. ClickPublishorNext.
Ifyourdraftdoesnotlinktoanynew pages,Contributepublishesthedrafttoyour
website,thendisplaysitintheContributebrowser.
Ifyourpagelinkstoanynewpages,thePublishLinkedNewFilesdialogboxappears.
8. Foreachunpublishedlinkedpage(clickthepagenametoselectit),changethefilename
andfolderlocationifyouwant,thenclickPublishAll.
Thefilenameappearsattheendofthewebaddressforthewebpage.Thewebaddress
isthelocationwhereContributesavesthepageonyourwebsite.
Rollingbacktoapreviousversionofapage
1. Browsetothepagethatyouwanttorollback.
2. SelectFile>RollBacktoPreviousVersion.
TheRollBackPagedialogboxappears.
3. Selectapreviousversionofthepublishedpagefromthelistofavailablepages.
Note:Thelistofpreviouslypublishedpagesdisplaysupto99ofthepreviousversions of
thepage,dependingonthesettingyourwebsiteadministratorchooses.
ContributedisplaysthepageinthePreviewsection.
4. Ifthepageyouselectedistheoneyouwanttopublish,clicktheRollBackbutton.Ifthe
pageisnottheoneyouwanttopublish,selectanotherpagefromthelist,thenclickRoll
Back.
Contributereplacesthecurrentlypublishedversionofthepagewiththepreviously
publishedversionyouselected.Theversionyouselectedbecomesthecurrentversion
ofthewebsite.
Note:ThepageyoureplacewiththeselectedrollbackpageappearsintheRollBack
Pagedialogboxt henexttimeyouopenthedialogboxsoyoucanrollbacktothat
versionifyouneedto.
