Chapter 4
Managing Files
This chapter describes how to perform file management tasks such as opening,
closing, saving, and automatically backing up files. This chapter also describes how
to work with Unicode and DBCS (Double-Byte Character Support) files.
The tasks described in this chapter do not replace the need for creating a project to
organize the files in a Web site or Web application. For instructions on how to use
projects, see “Managing a Web Site with Projects” on page 125.
To manage remote files, see “Working with Files on Remote Servers” on page 13.
