Tools
The Tools section of the Administrator, accessed by clicking the Tools tab at the top
of the left navigation bar, provides administrative features in ColdFusion Server
Enterprise Edition, for managing Web site specific files, configurations, and
applications
The following table describes some of the common tasks that you can perform in the
Data Sources section:
Task Description
Analyze and view log file
information
The enhanced log viewer and filter utilities let you to extract
essential information from one or more log files. For more
information, see “Logs and Statistics” on page 103.
Backup and deploy site
information
The site archiving features let you easily back-up and
deploy site configuration information, files, and/or
applications. For more information, see the Advanced
ColdFusion Administration book.
Monitor resources, send
alarm notifications, and
distribute incoming Web
traffic
The monitoring and site management features let you
monitor resources in your Web site, be informed when
critical events occur, and control the distribution of HTTP
traffic hitting your Web sites. for more information, see the
Advanced ColdFusion Administration book.
Examine site
performance statistics
and server configuration
changes
The Server Reports page lets you examine ColdFusion
Server performance statistics over a period of time, track
ColdFusion Server configuration changes as they occur,
and identify all current configuration settings from one view.
