Administrator E-mail Options
The ClusterCATS administration e-mail support feature reports vital statistics about
your cluster to designated e-mail accounts in your organization. You can set up the
following types of administration e-mail options:
• Report e-mail
Lets you know each day how your server clusters are functioning. Daily e-mail
reports include the following information:
− Cluster name and each server’s name and IP address in the cluster
− Files Total number of files in the Web server’s root directory
− Disk space Total amount of disk space used and remaining on the system
drive that contains the Web server’s root directory
− Log files Size and location of the log files
• Support e-mail
Sends an automatic e-mail nightly to Allaire’s Technical Support team that
contains basic configuration information about your cluster. This information
enables Allaire to provide optimal support by understanding your environment
when you call a Technical Support representative. Support e-mail contains the
following information:
− Cluster name and the number of servers the cluster contains
− Statistics for each server, including failover, redirection, and database
statistics
You can also have one or more people of your choice receive copies of this
periodic e-mail.
