BIOSAFETY CABINET
• Biosafety Containment cabinet basically for minimized exposure to radioactivity.
• The system should be suitable to be used for minute quantities of tracer amounts of radio-nucleotides and volatile
toxic chemicals required as an adjunct to molecular studies
• The supplied system should be complying with the highest quality and safety standards and should be fully-
compliant with NSF/ANSI 49 of Class II Type B2 classification of Bio Safety Level, where there should be no
recirculation inside the work chamber.
• Contaminated air from the external environment should be drawn into the blower motor plenum and filtered into
the working area. This air should be “totally exhausted”, eliminating the risk of sample or user exposure to
harmful chemicals.
• The work surface should be minimum 4feet wide.
• Sound Pressure Level should be less than 65 dB (A)
• Supply/Exhaust Air Filter should have an efficiency of 99.99% @ .3 Microns or more.
• System should be supplied with Prefilter installed on the top of the cabinet to filter out room contaminants thus
helping to preserve life of the downflow HEPA or ULPA filters.
• system should have 10° sloped window for ergonomic posture to reduce strain and fatigue associated with long
working hours

Be No Recirculation Inside The Work Chamber.
• Slide type splash door with tempered safety glass.
• Built in utility device with Stainless steel working structure and heavy duty ceramic working table
