228. Hydraulic Flume with
Meandering Arrangement
Tilting Flume with re-circulating system (15m x 1.5m x 1m) with Poly carbonate / Perspex / glass on one side,
adjustable gate at inlet section, pipe railing for movement of hook gauge, trolley, bed profile indicator, runoff recorder
with re-circulating arrangement having 15 hp Centrifugal pump and prime mover assembly, slope adjusted with
hydraulic pump up to 0 – 5% (slope). Perforated bed for seepage study and spray arrangement with 5 V-jet 80100
nozzles to simulate rainfall.
- Water stage level recorder of vertical drum Belfast type for recording water level variation up to 60cm (Hindustan
Clock Works, Pune).
- Rectangular weir for the inflow water measurement with the flume bed made of 6mm thick M.S.Plate of size
1.5x0.5m with weir opening of 1.3 x 0.2 m with measuring scale.
