4.2 MAC OS
• Turn on your Computer
• Connect the power and turn it on
• Connect the IceCube to your computer’s 1394a port
• For Mac OS 9.1 or later no driver is required. Your IceCube will show up on your
desktop or you will be prompted to initialize the HDD first, if that is a factory new drive or
the format is not recognized.

Note: If you are using OS 8.6 or 9.04, your Firewire support has to be at least v2.6. This can
be downloaded from the Apple homepage, bought with additional software such as
“Anubis” from Charismac or done by upgrading the OS to at least OS 9.1.
