Installing Drive Cover

Install reel drive cover a s follow s:

1. For SINGLE REEL DRIVE, position reel drive cover (A)

to the reel drive and secure with four bolts (B).

2. For DOU BLE REEL DRIVE, position th e lower cover

Install upper cover (A) using the six bolts (B).

6.9.2 Replacing Double Reel U-Joint

The ree

l drive U-joint allows movement between the two reels. This allows either reel to move independently.

Lubri

cate the U-joint in accordance with the requirements. Refer to 6.3.6 Lubrication and Servicing, page 132.

U-joi

nt should be replaced if severely worn or damaged. Refer to Removing Double Reel U-Joint, page 225.
