Greasing Procedure
Greasing points are marked on the machine by decals showing a grease gun and grease interval in hours of
operation. Master grease point location decals as shown below are provided on the header.
Use the recommended lubricants specified in this manual.
Refer to 6.2.2 Recommended Fluids and Lubricants, page
115.
CAUTION
Stop engine and remove key from ignition before
leaving operator's seat for any reason. A child or
even a pet could engage an idling machine.

Recommen
ded Lubricants
1. Wipe grease fitting with a clean cloth before greasing
to avoid injecting dirt and grit.
2. Inject grease through fi tting with grease gun until
grease overflows fitting (except where noted).
3. Leave excess g rease on fittingtokeepoutdirt.
4. Replace any loose or broken fittings immediately.
5. Remove and thoroughly clean any fittin g that will
not take grease. Also clean lubricant passageway.
Replace fitting if necessary.
6. Use clean High Temperature Extreme Pressure grease
as shown.
