Hart-Carter (HCC) Series II Pickup Reel
The Hart Carter reel features a smooth crop
flow of material into the header. The reel fea-
tures a simple design, fewer parts, and reduced
weight than reels from other manufacturers, but
greater reel arm strength because of higher
arm rigidity. The reel is equipped with plastic
polytine fingers, which are more durable than
steel tines, for less maintenance.
Choice of Reel
Challenger offers both the Hart Carter and the Universal UII pickup reels. Each reel has it’s
own benefits, so the customer can choose the reel best suited to the conditions.
The HCC is a six bat reel. The reel sweep is
very smooth from the time it enters the crop un-
til crop release. The reel tine cam is adjustable
for varying crop conditions.
