DHW DRAPER HEADER
Header Walkway
A walkway with a non-slip surface is designed
into the header. The walkway can be accessed
from the tractor’s left side platform. The walk-
way with handles on the cab gives the operator
a non-slip platform to clean the cab windows.
Hydraulic Guard Angle
The hydraulic guard angle adjustment is stan-
dard on the SP115B and SP185B. It is avail-
able as an optional kit on the SP85B. The
guard angle adjustment is made from the op-
erator’s seat, and controls the tilt angle of the
head. When the guard angle is used in con-
junction with the gauge wheels, the cutting
height can be changed. The guard angle ad-
justment can also be used to get under down
crop. The header tilt can also be used to con-
trol the tilt of the draper conveyors, affecting
how the crop is laid into the swath (herringbone
pattern).
