AHB SICKLE HEADER
Skid Shoes
Skid shoes can be raised or lowered easily
without tools to adapt to different crops or field
conditions. The skid shoes can be adjusted for
various cutting heights up to five inches. The
skid shoes are easily set for maximum operator
convenience and crop adaptability.
Hydraulic Header Flotation
Flotation can be regulated during operation of
the machine from the cab with an electric
switch located on the tractor’s instrument panel.
Flotation pressure can be raised or lowered on
the go, depending on crop or field conditions.
The header flotation is accomplished with a ni-
trogen charged hydraulic accumulator and hy-
draulic cylinders installed on the tractor. The
hydraulic header flotation allows the operator to
adapt the header flotation to any crop or field
condition on the go, improving timeliness and
reducing potential header damage.
Header Walkway
A walkway has been added to the header. The
walkway can be accessed from the left tractor
platform. The walkway is fitted with slip-
resistant tape, and handles have been added
on the cab, so the operator has a place to
stand when cleaning the windows.
