B SERIES SP WINDROWER
SP85B and SP115B SP Windrower
The Challenger SP85B replaces the SP80 windrower, and the SP115B replaces the SP110.
These new machines share many of the proven features of the machines they replace, along
with these improvements:
Chassis
♦ Heavy 1/4” C-channel side frame rails
♦ Wheel drive motors fitted directly to planetary drives, eliminating chain drives, but keeping hydraulic
components protected
♦ Planetary drives have increased torque and radial load characteristics
SP115B - 42:1 final drive ratio compared to 35:1 on the SP110
SP85B - 34.6:1 final drive ratio compared to 29:1 on the SP80
♦ Spring applied parking brake, hydraulic pressure release (SP115B), manual (SP85B)
♦ Heavier lower lift arm anchor, lift arm struts, and stronger lift arms to accommodate auger and
draper headers
♦ Larger drive tires for smoother ride and increased ground clearance (18.4 x 26 Turf and 16.9 x 28
Bar tread compared to 19.5L x 24)
♦ Radial Bar tire option. 18.4—26 R1
♦ Formed Caster option with 12.5L—15 tire for better performance in muddy fields.
Hydraulic System
♦ Sauer-Danfoss hydraulic system for greater reliability and reduced sound levels
♦ Header pump flow automatically adjusts to auger header or draper header
♦ Auger and draper headers no longer require installation kits
♦ Header Reverser standard on both models
Engine and Accessories
♦ 85 hp Caterpillar 4.41 Liter naturally aspirated engine (SP85B)
♦ 115 hp Caterpillar 4.41 Liter turbocharged engine (SP115B)
♦ Tier II engine (Meets new emissions standards)
