Battery
Alternator
The SP115B and SP85B tractors are equipped
with a 110 amp alternator. The SP185B has a
95 amp alternator. The alternator is large
enough to handle nighttime cutting, which re-
quires operating lights, as well as heater or air
conditioner, for operator comfort. The alterna-
tor is sized for large electrical loads, for more
reliable operation.
Batteries
The windrower tractor is equipped with two 12-
volt batteries. One battery is located on each
side of the engine, for easy access. The bat-
teries provide sufficient power to start the ma-
chine in adverse conditions, for less downtime.
Fuses and Circuit Breakers
The fuses and circuit breakers for the electrical
system are located beneath the control panel in
the cab. An instructional decal placed near the
fuses shows the fuse sizes. The fuse location
is ideal for protection from elements and for bet-
ter serviceability.
