Umicore RHODUNA
®
TD
The world’s brightest and whitest rhodium!
Rhodium suppliers all SAY their rhodium is the whitest and brightest,
but only Umicore can really PROVE it. Measured by spectropho-
tometer, only Umicore RHODUNA TD is as bright as pure rhodium
(89.5–90 on the lightness scale), while other brands fall short (86–
90). Test results were independently verified by CIE-Lab. There
is simply no whiter rhodium available on the market. In addition,
Umicore RHODUNA TD also plates thicker (0.5µm) than other brands
(0.3µm)—almost twice as thick for roughly twice the wear resistance.
Umicore RHODUNA TD features sulfate-based formula with high
deposition capacity, good plating speed and exceptional throwing
power. Packaged in shrink-sealed plastic bottles for protection and security. Choose from
concentrated solution for rack and barrel plating or pen plating straight out of the bottle,
convenient premixed solution for bath plating and replenisher for restoring depleted baths.

Rhodium Plating Guidelines for Best Results
• Always turn on the current before putting parts into the bath.
• Strike plate difficult parts with increased current density for 10–30 sec. at 4V max.
• Remove hydrogen bubbles that adhere to plating surfaces by tapping on the rack.
• Provide sufficient agitation of 5–10cm/sec. is important for best results.
