Burner Caps and Heads
Beforeremoving the burner caps and heads,
remember theirsizeand location.Replacethem in
the some locationafter cleaning.
NOTE:Donot usesteelwoolor scouringpowders
to cleantheburnerparts.
Burner caps
Liftoff when cool.Wash burner caps in hot, soapy
water and rinse with clean water. Youmay scour
with a plastic scouring pad to remove burned-on
food particles.

Theslitsin theburnerheadsmustbekeptcleonat
oiltimesforon even,unhamperedflame.
Cloggedordirty burnerportsor electrodeswill not
allowthe burnerto operateproperly.
Anyspillonor aroundanelectrodemustbe
carefullycleaned.Takecareto not hit anelectrode
with anythinghardorit couldbedamaged.
Cleonthe burnerheedsroutinely,especiallyafter
badspillovers,whichcouldclogthe openings.Lift
off whencool.
Toremoveburned-onfood,soakthe burnerheads
inasolutionof mildliquiddetergentandhot water
for 20-30 minutes.Formorestubbornstains,usea
toothbrush.
After cleaning
Beforeputtingthe burnercaps,heads(onsome
models)andovalhead/capassemblyback,shake
out excesswaterandthen dry themthoroughly
by settingina warmovenfor 30minutes.
Replacement
Replaceburnerheadsoverthe electrodeson
the cooktop,andthen replacethe burnercaps
onto the burnerheads,inthe correctlocations
accordingto their size.
