LOCATION
The appliance must be kept no less than 50 mm away from any side wall which exceed the
heightofthehobsurface(g.7.1).
Curtainsmustnotbettedimmediatlybehindapplianceorwithin500mmofthesides.
It is essential that the cooker is positioned as stated below.
The appliance must be housed in heat resistant units.
The walls of the units must be capable of resisting temperatures of 75 °C above
room temperature.
Donotinstalltheappliancenearinammablematerials(eg.curtains).
If the cooker is located on a pedestal it is necessary to provide safety measures to prevent
falling out.
