Description logic gates
The SC98.40knx includes four logic gates with up to four logic inputs (input value 1 - 4). The inputs can be internal and external values. Internal input values correspond to channels of the time switch or an
output value of one of the other logic gates. An external input value is a communication object from the KNX bus (communication object I, II, III, IV). The output can be 1 bit and / or a 1-byte value. Selectable
logic operations for up to 4 input values are: AND, OR, exclusive OR, AND with feedback. The following tables show examples for 2 input values and corresponding output values for the different logic
operations.

You can choose whether you provide the time for the bus or if you synchronize
the time switch with the bus time. If you select “receive date/time from bus"
you have to configure the time switch with “summer / winter time = No" and
“DCF GMT offset = 0h” for a correct synchronization of the time switch.

By activating this function the correct reception of the radio receiver can be
monitored and the status will be sent to the bus (0 = OK, 1 = Alarm / / radio
