PROVA PAN
Description
PROVA PAN is a durable, lightweight shower pan made of
high-density expanded polystyrene (EPS) that is pre-sloped
2% to facilitate water flow to the shower drain. PROVA PAN is
divided into four interlocking panels for easy handling and
has an integrated molded recess to accept the flanged
PROVA DRAIN assembly. Grooves on the bottom of the pan
enhance thinset bonding between the pan and the
substrate. The PROVA PAN comes with a one piece pre-cut
PROVA MAT Pan Liner that is installed to water proof the
top of the pan.

Typical Applications
PROVA PAN is designed for new and existing interior
applications. PROVA PAN is ideal for replacing mud bed
shower pans and where tubs are removed to create
showers. PROVA PAN can be used in residential,
hospitality, health care and student housing applications.
Suitable Substrates
Wood substrates (OSB; EGP Exterior Glue Plywood) with
minimum subfloor thickness of 5/8” and joist spacing no
greater than 19.2” o.c. Concrete slabs.
Installation
Substrate must be clean flat and load bearing. Dry fit the
PROVA PAN to the substrate by placing the drain hole in
the pan directly over the existing drain hole in the substrate.
Cut the PROVA PAN edges as needed. Thinset the
PROVA PAN sections to the substrate. Fit the PROVA DRAIN
assembly onto the drain pipe. Dry cut the PROVA MAT Pan
Liner to fit the top of the PROVA PAN. Thinset the PROVA
MAT Pan Liner to the top of the pan. Use PROVA-BOND and
PROVA CORNERS as needed per instructions to waterproof
the corners and wall connections. Protect the PROVA PAN
and PROVA MAT Pan Liner from traffic prior to tile
installation with heavy cardboard or plywood. (Please
