EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE
Eye Contact:
Will cause tissue destruction and eye damage if not treated.
Skin Contact:
May cause itching and redness; prolonged conta

Causes severe irritation and possible tissue damage to mucous membranes of the mouth, throat, esophagus and
stomach.
Inhalation:
Vapors are unlikely due to physical properties.

SECTION 8 -- SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES
Steps to be taken in case material is spilled or released: Wear eye and skin protection. Floor may be slippery; use car
e to avoid falling. Leaks should be
stopped. Spills should be contained and scooped up immediately with inert materials (e.g. sand, earth) and placed in approved containers for disposal. Flush
spill area with water.

Not required under normal use, but if vapor concentration become high, use self

Handling and Storage Precautio

Do not store in aluminum container as flammable hydrogen gas can be generated. Do not use aluminum fittings or
transfer lines. Avoid contact with acids.

tainers closed when not in use. Avoid eye contact. Avoid prolonged or repeated contact
with skin. Wash skin with soap and water after contact.
Empty Container Warning:
“Empty” containers retain residue (liquid and/or vapor) and can be dangerous. Do
not pressurize, cut, weld, braze,
solder, drill, grind or expose such containers to heat, flame, sparks or other sources of ignition. They may explode
and cause injury or death. Do not attempt to clean since residue is difficult to remove. “Empty” drums should be
completely drained, properly bunged and promptly returned to supplier or disposed of in an environmentally safe
manner and in accordance with governmental regulations.
