Actual locations may vary depending on your stud layout. NOTE: Heated soaking bathtub has a combined pump and heater, requiring only one GFCI receptacle. One GFCI receptacle is required for whirlpool without in-line heater.

8 5a 5a. If using shims (not included) apply a generous bead of construction adhesive (not included) to each foot of bathtub and shim. Note: Do not place the bathtub in the alcove or island yet! 8. Use silicone (not included) to install the drain assembly (not included) per the drain manufacturer's instructions. 5b 9 5b. If you prefer to use a floor leveling compound (not included) instead of shims, follow the floor leveling compound manufacturer's instructions.

CLEANING Do not use any abrasive cleaners or metal scrapers. If drywall mud or plaster gets on your whirlpool, it may be carefully removed with a wooden scraper made from a piece of scrap wood. Adhesive may be removed with mineral spirits. Ideal cleaners are Soft Scrub Gel® or Comet Gel®. FLUSHING INSTRUCTIONS FOR WHIRLPOOL: Whirlpool unit must be flushed every ninety (90) days with a sanitizing chemical such as a spa freshener, algicide or household bleach.
