RE wheel: This setting allows the user to select what rotating the rotary encoder will do when on the
meter pages. Valid selections are: SD Shuttle and Monitor Out Volume (abbreviated “Volume”). When
Volume is selected, the Monitor Out volume is set with the Monitor Out button. SD Shuttle moves
forward into the active SD card file, when playback is paused.
Monitor Out: Allows the user to select which output pair are designated as the “Monitor Out” for both the
“RE click: DIM” function and the “RE wheel: Volume” function.
Pressing the Select button when Monitor Out is highlighted allows the selection of any stereo output to be
designated as the “Monitor Out” and controlled by the RE: wheel and RE: click functions. Use Function to
toggle between output types, and the rotary encoder to navigate to channel pairs. Select or RE click to choose.
6.2.16 Date & Time
The “Date & Time” page is where the current information can be set and edited. These settings are necessary
because the SD recordings are date and time stamped for easier organization.
Please note that NControl also allows setting the date and time from the computer’s clock with Menu >
Advanced > Set Aurora(n) date & time.
6.2.17 Backlight
The “Backlight” page is where you can adjust the intensity of the display and front panel buttons.
