Easy Mode
Preparation: Connect device with electricity, long press the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds
until indicator light quickly flashes, the application already stepped into “Devices”
interface.
• Phone has connected to Wi-Fi and is able to connect to the internet.
• Tap the “+” icon in the top right corner of “Devices”.
• Make sure the indicator light is flashing quickly, then tap the related button in
application.
• Choose the local Wi-Fi and enter the correct password, then tap “Next”.
• Wait for successful configuration, then tap “Done”.
AP Mode
If failed in easy mode, automatically skip to AP mode, or tap the icon “+” in the top right
corner of “Devices”. Enter into “Add Device”, tap “AP Mode” in the top right corner.
• Long press ON/OFF button until indicator light slowly flashes, then tap the related
button in application, in the next interface, tap “Next”.
• Tap “Connect now”, choose Wi-Fi named “SmartLife-XXXX”, then go back to
“Tuya Smart” application.
• Wait for successful configuration, then tap “Done”.
• Users can rename the device by tapping the pen icon in the middle of the interface.
