Operations Guide
1.
Mild Weather:
Auto mode is the best setting during the mild seasons or if you
live in an area where you need both heating and cooling in the
same day. This will automatically control both your heating and
cooling systems to keep a consistent temperature. During this
season you might also want to consider using the IAQ fan
mode, which cycles fresh air through your home using your fan
system.
2.
Cold Weather:
Heat mode is the best setting to use when it’s cold out and you
won’t need to use your air conditioner. This will make sure that
your air conditioner stays idle and that your heater keeps your
home’s temperature above your chosen set-temperature.
3.
Hot Weather:
Cool mode is the best setting to use when it’s hot out and you
won’t need to use your heating system. This will make sure that
your heater stays idle and that your air conditioner keeps your
home’s temperature below your chosen set-temperature.
