Occupancy Sensing Switch Placement and Operation

Occupancy sensing switch must have an unobstructed view of the room.
• HotobjectsandmovingaircurrentscanaffecttheperformanceoftheOccupancysensingswitch.
• TheperformanceoftheOccupancysensingswitchdependsonatemperaturedifferentialbetweentheambient
roomtemperatureandthatofroomoccupants.WarmerroomsmayreducetheabilityoftheOccupancysensing
switch to detect occupants.
Definitions
